KATHRYN "KAT" STEPP CRABILL, age 61, a lifelong resident of Manassas and grew up in Manassas Park, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Novant Health Prince Willam Medical Center, Manassas.

Kat was a remarkably strong and loving woman who loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a kind soul with a great sense of humor. Kat was an amazing story teller and had an incredible ability to express her thoughts into very interesting stories. When she shared her writings with others, they were sure to get a chuckle, or maybe shed a tear, but most importantly, without a doubt when she finished sharing her story the listeners would know she was speaking from the heart and could feel the love she had for the person she was writing about. She was loved by many and will be missed greatly. She worked in the financial and banking industry for many years and she loved to watch John Travolta movies.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Dorothy Stepp.

Survivors include her husband, Warren H. Crabill; two children, Shane White and Tanya White; her father, Vernon Stepp; one stepdaughter, Elizabeth Clark; two brothers, Billy Stepp and Dean Stepp and wife Claudia; five grandchildren, Katie, Brandon, Nancy, William and Lannon and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
