LEONARD ROBBINS PUTNAM, age 96 passed away at Caton Merchant House on Tuesday, May 21, 2013.

He was born on October 10, 1916 in Artesian, South Dakota to the late Benjamin and Pearl (Robbins) Putnam. Mr. Putnam was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of American Legion Post 158 and a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Manassas, VA. He worked for 50 plus years at Merchants Tire.

Predeceased by his loving wife Marguerite W. Putnam.
Survivors include two daughters: Lerita P. Milbert and husband Frederick and Janice P. Culbertson and husband Arthur and four grandchildren: Jordan Milbert and wife Jillian, Kallie Milbert, Kelsey Culbertson and Lauren Culbertson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Grace United Methodist Church, 9750 Wellington Road, Manassas, VA. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 11:30 AM at the church with Rev. Rudy Tucker and Rev. Meredith McNabb officiating. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA.
